Description: A 2-layer piezoelectric actuator produces curvature when one piezo layer expands while the other layer contracts. These transducers are often referred to as benders, bimorphs, or flexural elements. Bender motion on the order of hundreds to thousands of microns, and bender force from tens to hundreds of grams, is typical.

Totally non-magnetic transducers are fabricated using piezoceramic with non-magnetic electrodes and non-magnetic reinforcing materials. They exhibit no magnetic permeability and generate no magnetic field. Applications include: high field environments such as NMR machinery and particle accelerators.

Performance is approximately 85% that of standard brass shim elements of similar size and thickness. They are suitable for cryogenic and low vacuum use. Custom configurations, sizes, and mounting options upon request. Maximum size; 1.75" (44.5mm) long x 1.75" (44.5mm) wide.

Standard Sizes: Designated "-103", "-203", and "-303".
